San Diego Moving Service Since 1925.

The wheels first started turning in 1925 for Atlas Transfer & Storage Co., with the modest intent of moving pianos. Soon after, the company secured a government contract to move military members' household goods into and out of San Diego, in addition to providing storage. In 1947, we became an agent for Allied Van Lines.

Today, Atlas Transfer & Storage Co. has fifty employees. Where there was once one truck on the road there are now 52, moving corporate and household goods to all corners of the country.

As an agent for Allied Van Lines, we are part of one of the largest and most sophisticated relocation systems in the world. In 1998, Allied Van Lines was rated #1 in Customer Satisfaction for the 10th time in 11 years by Distribution magazine, the nation's leading transportation trade journal.

From moving pianos as a one truck firm in the early 20th century, Atlas Transfer and Storage Co., agent for Allied Van Lines, has become a renowned San Diego moving and storage company. We now provide an array of services, whether it may be international moving or the need for corporate moving services. From interstate moving to local San Diego moving services, Atlas Transfer & Storage Co. has established a successful history of providing San Diego with quality moving and storage services.

In following with our commitment to our San Diego community, we support and are involved with the San Diego Historical Society, Veterans of Foreign Wars, "Special Delivery - Meals for People Living with AIDS," local chapters of the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Planned Parenthood, the American Cancer Society, and the Children's Hospital Charity Ball, to name just a few.
